Expertly crafted by the Fender Custom Shop, the American Custom Jazz Bass® NOS delivers the iconic tone and feel you expect from a Fender bass, with premium features and appointments.
The bass starts with a lightweight two-piece select ash body finished in a nitrocellulose lacquer for a vintage-inspired look. The quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable 1960 Jazz Bass® "U" profile and is topped with either an ebony or quartersawn maple fingerboard and 20 Medium Jumbo frets.
Vintage-style oval paddle tuning machines and an RSD HiMass™ bridge provide rock-solid tuning stability and excellent sustain. The pickups are Custom Shop Hand-Wound vintage Jazz Bass models that capture the classic warm, round tone. Controls include individual volume for each pickup and a master tone control.
